Course Content
- Identify common chronic health conditions affecting senior clients
- Identify the importance of enhancing the needs of senior clients in ADLs
- Carry out proper preparation for ADLs in consideration of senior clients’ privacy and dignity
- Assist senior clients with hygiene, toileting and feeding activities including proper waste disposal
- Record ADLs and report abnormalities observed in senior clients’ conditions
- Respond to senior clients with chronic or acute conditions with appropriate use of first aid and AEDs
