Course overview
As Singapore’s population ages, skilled and compassionate senior-care support is increasingly needed. The course combines hands-on skills, communication techniques and empathy training aligned with Singapore’s national care standards.
It is recognised across eldercare, community care and healthcare sectors, sits within the WSQ framework and is SkillsFuture Credit-eligible.
Practical learning
Interactive activities, case studies and practical exercises are used throughout so skills are rehearsed before they are needed.
Minimum entry requirements
- 21 years old and above, and currently working in a healthcare-related industry for 0–3 years
- Minimum Lower Secondary Level and/or able to read, write, listen and speak English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3; and count to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 3
- Able to operate a personal desktop computer or laptop with Level 2 basic computing and applications skills

No refund will be provided where written notice of withdrawal is received less than three (3) days before the course commencement date, or on or after the course commencement date.
