Terms and Conditions

1. Application and Enrolment

• Enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis and will close once the class reaches its maximum capacity.
• Courses will commence only when the minimum required number of participants is met.
• A course confirmation letter will be sent by email upon confirmation of enrolment.
• Applications may be submitted at J L Institution Pte Ltd, 28 Sin Ming Lane, #02-137, Midview City, Singapore 573972.
• J L Institution Pte Ltd reserves the right to cancel, postpone or make reasonable changes to a course, including the trainer, course content, schedule or commencement date, where necessary.

2. Payment

• All payments must be made in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
• Full payment must be made by the stated payment due date and, in any event, no later than the course commencement date.

• SkillsFuture Credit (if applicable)

3. Cancellation, Postponement, Transfer and Replacement

• J L Institution Pte Ltd reserves the right to cancel or make changes to course dates, times, fees or trainers due to unforeseen circumstances or operational requirements. In the event of cancellation or postponement by J L Institution Pte Ltd, only the course fees paid will be refunded.
• Requests for postponement, transfer, replacement or withdrawal must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and received by J L Institution Pte Ltd at least two (2) weeks before the course commencement date.
• A course postponement may be made only once. Any course fees paid will not be refunded if the participant fails to attend the deferred course date.
• Participants may request to change to another course offered by J L Institution Pte Ltd before the original course commencement date, subject to availability and applicable course requirements.

4. Refund Policy

The following refund policy applies to course withdrawal requests. No refund will be provided where written notice of withdrawal is received less than three (3) days before the course commencement date or on or after the course commencement date.

• 100% refund — written notice received 30 days or more before the course commencement date.
• 50% refund — written notice received 14 to 29 days before the course commencement date.
• 25% refund — written notice received 3 to 13 days before the course commencement date.
• No refund — written notice received less than 3 days before the course commencement date or after the course has commenced.

5. Grievances and Feedback

• Students may submit grievances or feedback to the Principal or via email at [email protected].

6. Personal Data Protection and Confidentiality

All students’ personal data collected during registration will be used for purposes related to course registration, administration, billing, attendance, assessment, certification, marketing and promotion of J L Institution Pte Ltd’s courses and services, and other purposes necessary for the delivery and administration of the course.

Where applicable, personal data may also be collected, used or disclosed to relevant government agencies or other authorised parties for regulatory, funding or compliance purposes, including SSG-funded course administration and grant claims.

J L Institution Pte Ltd will take reasonable measures to protect students’ personal data and will handle such data in accordance with applicable personal data protection requirements and its policies. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Intellectual Property

• All course materials, including but not limited to training notes, presentations, handouts, exercises, assessments, recordings, images, videos, templates and other materials provided by J L Institution Pte Ltd or its trainers, are the intellectual property of J L Institution Pte Ltd and/or the respective copyright or intellectual property owners, unless otherwise stated.
• Course materials are provided for the registered participant’s personal learning and educational use only. They must not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, published, uploaded, shared, sold, licensed, or otherwise used for commercial or public purposes without prior written permission from the relevant intellectual property owner.
• Any unauthorised use, reproduction or distribution of course materials may constitute an infringement of intellectual property rights, and J L Institution Pte Ltd reserves the right to take appropriate action.
